Volunteers Needed

Calling all volunteers! First Night^® Dover 2009 is approaching quickly. This non-alcoholic community celebration welcoming the New Year will be held in downtown Dover, Delaware on December 31. Because it includes more than 25 performing artist, children's activities, and two fireworks shows, it is no small task.

First Night® needs your help to make this event as successful as it has been in years past. Although many volunteers from previous years sign on, new faces are welcome and needed.

Volunteers will greet audiences at over 25 sites downtown, give directions, help set up and take down stages for the artists and assist with general cleanup. Most volunteers are stationed indoors and each volunteer receives a free admission button to all First Night® events.

Since there are numerous venues (over 25), all volunteers are assigned a specific site/location on a first request basis by the staff of First Night®. If you have a specific relationship with a certain venue, please indicate in on this form. For example, if you are a church member at Church A and you want to volunteer to work there, indicate that on this sheet.
